The members of Morgans Mill met at East Tennessee State University while studying Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music. Dylan Young, a Fort Worth, Texas native and AJ Hawkins, from Rocky Top, Tennessee, began writing songs together and, soon after, added Caleb Mehaffey from Alexander, North Carolina as their lead guitarist.

With the release of their second EP, "Wyoming," Morgans Mill continues to prove their progress and dedication to the country-music industry. Both "Wyoming" and their self-titled EP consist of entirely original material that was written, recorded, and produced by the band. Whether you're listening to "As Long as You're There" and dreaming about coming home or listening to the title-track "Wyoming" and thinking about getting away, every song Morgans Mill writes is meant to make you feel something - even if it just makes you feel like dancing (listen to "Favorite Drinkin' Song").

"I Don't Have the Heart" off Morgans Mill's second EP was nominated for "Songwriter of the Year" through the Texas Country Music Association.

"One of the hardest things people have to deal with is their search for purpose in life. We believe this purpose reveals itself through hardships and experiences, individually leading us to a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we all came together as Morgans Mill, it didn't feel as if it were a particular person's idea; it felt as if we were all led to a position where we could pursue God and country music together. Through all the times we've played as Morgans Mill, the miles we've traveled, and the people we've met, God continues to show us that this is our purpose in life. We were meant to make music that resonates with others and share what has been shared with us." - AJ Hawkins

"As the Morgans Mill family continues to grow, we want to thank each and every one of you for your continued love and support. We have several dreams and desires for our music, and one of the most important to us is to be altruistic. All of you great people who listen to and support us are the reason we will continue to 'chase that honky tonk dream.' It means the world to us when we see people in the audience that have been to previous shows and we know how far they drove to get there. It means the world to us when you request one of our songs and sing along with us. It means the world to have all of you believe in us and that you want to be a part of what we're doing." - Dylan Young

"I think every person is put on this earth with a specific purpose. My purpose is to play music. Morgans Mill  is very special to me because it gave me the opportunity to play music professionally, and it gave me two extremely talented people that I'm lucky enough to call my brothers. We appreciate all the love and support we get while chasing our dreams, and we hope our music can help y'all - whether you just want to rock out while driving or you're going through a hard time and need a shoulder to cry on. Music has helped me through so many tough times throughout my life, and if I can create music that helps people along their way, that would be really special." - Caleb Mehaffey
